Misbah ul Haq today played yet another splendid innings which not only rescued after quick earlier blows but also helped them win the only Twenty20 match of the tour by 102 runs. Bangladesh were completely looked outclassed yet again as they finished their miserable tour with another embarrassing performance, conceding 203 runs in the field and managing just 101 in reply.
In the first Twenty20 international to be held in Pakistan, Shoaib Malik’s decision to bat first looked like a bit in doubt as in form openers Salman Butt and Kamran Akmal were both dismissed in the first over. But Younis Khan and Misbah justifies the decision made by Shoaib Malik was right by helping Pakistan recovered from the early blows plus propelling the scoreboard to 84 for 2 by the end of the ninth over.. Younis Khan and Misbah were playing quite comfortably and were looking like that they are playing with Bangladesh bowlers . Younis got out on 47 runs as he gave catch straight back to Shakib Al Hasan. With the help of blasting innings by Malik and Fawad Alam ,Pakistan manage to score 203 for 5 in 20 overs with Misbah unbeaten on 87 runs.
In reply Bangladesh started well and it started looking that the match might close till the last over but as Tamim Iqbal got out ,Bangladesh batting started shacking and was buried under ground when the score was just 101. At one stage Bangladesh was 41 for 0 in 5.3 overs and everything looked right but in just 59 runs all batsmen of Bangladesh surrender against Pakistan Bowling. Mansoor Amjad bowled astonishing well and he took 3 wickets for 3 in just 1 over and that over change the match completely.
