Shane Watson first used the help of pitch to keep check on the Delhi batsmen and then with bat played like a master blaster and made 74 off 40 balls maintaining the Rajasthan Royals’ 100% record at home. It was the all round performance from Watson which took Rajasthan to thriling victory by 3 wickets in last over. This win makes their chances of semis more strong and they kept their top place in IPL table secured. Though Delhi tried their level best to defend their total but some miss fielding and catches dropped made their efforts go in vain.

Playing on their home ground ,Rajasthan after winning the toss elected to bowl first . Delhi seems looking to go furiously in start and started scoring blastingly but after Virendra Sehwag ,Gambhir and Dhawan gone back in Pavilion ,Delhi seems to lose the grip and looked like ending around 120 . But it was Maharoof whose 39 runs valuable contribution took Delhi Daredevils back in track and put 156/7 on board.

Delhi seems to get back in match and bowled quite superbly and got Yusuf Pathan and Kaif in first over and it looked like Rajasthan will be in big problem. But Watson looked fearless . He scored 22 runs in one over which changed the match . It seems to looked like that Rajasthan will win this match quite comphrensive ,Delhi strike back and took Warne and Watson in last moment and made match thrilling one. But Rajasthan tailender played sensibly and took Rajasthan to 3 wicket win.
