Today it was the real test of Chennai Super Kings as after the departure of Trio Mathew Hayden,MIcheal Hussey and Jacob Oram this was the first match Chennai will be playing . The trio was a strong pillar of Chennai Superb 4 wins . The Luck of Dhoni striked at time of toss as he won it and elected to bat first as the batting of Chennai Super Kings is the backbone of its Win. Chennai didnt got the start which they wanted. Lost Stephen Flemming in 3rd Over,that over was full of drama . Stephen Flemming first got bowled out on No ball and then after surviing for 3 balls and scoring 2 fours on free hit got bowled out. After Stephen got out,Chennai started attacking Delhi bowlers and got 65 runs on board in 9th over but Parthiv Patel lost his concentration and got out. After that run rate of Chennai remain under coontrol . It was Delhi Bowlers which kept Chennai Blasting Batting order to remain cool . Chennai in end manage to score 169 for 6 in 20 overs. Dhoni made 32 from 27 balls but it was S Vidyut who scored a superb Half Century.It was GD McGrath who bowled econmically and gave only 21 runs with 1 wicket he got.

In reply Sehwag started his firework and was taking all Chennai bowlers for boundaries. Dhoni looked helpless and tried his all bowlers but were unsuccessful . As Sehwag was hitting big shots all around the stadium,Gambhir confirmed that Wicket didnt fell. Till the time Sehwag got out he had done all damage and secured that Delhi gets a wonderful win . He and Gambhir both scored half century,Gambhir today crossed Mathew hayden total score and got Orange cap as his total on 5 matches got to 224 runs. After Sehwag and Gambhir got out it was almost like formality left to secure the win and Ab De Villiers and Dhawan got it with 1 over to spare.
