After getting 151 for 0 in 23 overs, Pakistan due to failure of middle order was only able to make 308 for 8 in 50 overs but still manage to wrap up the series as Pakistan defeated Bangladesh in thrilling match by 23 runs . The innings which deserve this win was of Salman Butt and Kamran Akmal ,they both scored glorious centuries and made sure that Pakistan get a blasting start.

In the third encounter of Pakistan and bangladesh ,Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first . Their start was a blasting one as Salman Butt and Kamran Akmal put 151 runs Blasting First Wicket Partnership from just 23 overs. This start really made Bangladesh worried fo getting a target of close to 400 runs plus but their bowlers after finidng such horrible bowled superbly and got quick Wickets of Pakistan and manage to stop them to 308 for 8 in 50 overs. Bangladesh were superb as Mashrafe Mortaza and Shakib Al Hasan both did their level best and got 2 wickets each.

In Reply Bangladesh start was not good one as they lost their first wicket ib 7 th over. Soon it started looking that Bangladesh will lose this one with a big margin but they fight strongly as Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan both played sparkling but as Shakib Al Hasan got out Bangladesh chance of winning just lost as Bangladesh was only able to make 285 for 7 . Pakistan won by 23 runs.
